Terms and Conditions

Thank you for booking with STUDIO 500. These are our general Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully and call our office if you have any queries. Please note that we have a NO REFUND policy and the following cancellation fees apply.
• more than 30 days prior to arrival – 20% of the total tariff;
• 30 days or less – 50% of the total tariff; and
• 7 days or less – 100% of the total tariff. Changes to bookings incur an administration fee of up to $30 in addition to any cancellation fee.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

ACCOMMODATION
• Bookings may be made by telephone, facsimile, mail or on-line or in person at 500 Trentham-Kyneton Road, South Tylden, VICTORIA 3444.
• Telephone and facsimile, 03 5424 8588.
• The person who telephones, or is named on the booking form, remains the sole contact for communications with STUDIO 500.
• All bookings must be confirmed by payment of a deposit of at least 50% of the total tariff within 3 working days of booking. The balance is due on arrival or the booking may be cancelled by STUDIO 500 WITH NO REFUND OF THE DEPOSIT.
• Payments may be made, using a maximum of 3 transactions, by Mastercard, Visa, Money Order or direct deposit STUDIO 500. Payment by cheque will only be accepted if full payment is received as cleared funds 14 days before arrival.
• A bond can be requested when deemed necessary.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• Changes to accommodation bookings incur an administration fee of up to $30 in addition to a cancellation fee.
• Credit Card number will automatically give STUDIO 500 the right to debit any amounts outstanding or any extra charges for cleaning, extra packages, more guests staying, extra bedrooms being used or damage fees.
• STUDIO 500 has the right to refuse a booking.
• It is the guests responsibility to read all terms and conditions of their booking.

BOOKING CONDITIONS – “EXTRAS”
• STUDIO 500 is able to assist with bookings for golf, massages, spas, meals, restaurants and other extras as a package with your booking.
• Extras vouchers will NOT be sent by mail and must be picked up on arrival.
• We recommend booking massage and spa services at least 4 weeks in advance.
• Changes to extras bookings more than 7 days before arrival can incur a administration fee of up to $30 regardless of the individual service providers terms and conditions.
• No refunds are paid for Extras that are cancelled or changed 7 days or less before arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY
• Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the total tariff.
• Cancellations made 30 days or less and more than 7 days before arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total tariff.
• Cancellations made 7 days or less before arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total tariff.
• A request to change dates 7 days or less before arrival must be made by telephone during office hours and may be deemed to be a cancellation if the event that the property is not re-booked for the original dates.
• Should the property be re-booked you may elect to use the balance of your deposit – less the administration fee of $30 – or pay the total tariff and accept an accommodation voucher valid for up to six months.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended for both medical and cancellation coverage.

GIFT CERTIFICATES
• Gift certificates are available from STUDIO 500 and are subject to the same conditions and policies as for accommodation and extras as outlined in these terms and conditions.
• Gift certificates must include an accommodation component, are not redeemable for cash and can only be redeemed at STUDIO 500.
• Gift Certificates must be used in full on a single booking.

ACCOMMODATION TERMS OF USE
• Long weekends and public holidays may require multiple night bookings.
• Check-in time is 3pm on day of arrival and check-out is 11 am unless otherwise advised.
• Arrival at STUDIO 500 is expected after 3pm and before 6pm Saturday – Thursday and before 8pm Fridays and public holidays. Please contact STUDIO 500 by telephone should you need to arrive outside these hours.
• Please view accommodation at our website www.studio500.com.au prior to booking and call our office if you have any queries.
• STUDIO 500 may choose which suite is included in your booking.
• Changes to bedding configuration could incur a fee if guests change original booking request.
• STUDIO 500 is not responsible for any failure of utilities, essential services and appliances. Please report any failures to management as soon as possible and every attempt will be made toto contact the appropriate authorities or organise repairs. However, immediate repair may be beyond our control.
• No refund or discount will be deducted from the tariffs for unusable appliances awaiting repair.
• Call outs deemed by STUDIO 500 to be non-urgent will incur a call out fee of up to $50
• Please advise STUDIO 500 of visitors. STUDIO 500 has a right to charge a fee per visitor. Any additional cleaning required as a result of gatherings is not the responsibility of STUDIO 500. Such cleaning may be charged directly to you.
• STUDIO 500 is not responsible for the security of your belongings. Please ensure that your accommodation is secure when not occupied.
• If accommodation is booked for self-contained, breakfast provisions are provided. Accommodation will be serviced after 3 nights when the following will be carried out: new linen and towels provided, bins emptied. Extra refresh service or restocking of non-consumable supplies will be provided on request, at guest’s expense.
• In the event of excessive noise, guests will be required to leave the premises after one warning. There will be no refund.

DAMAGED OR MISSING PROPERTY
• Please notify any loss or damage to property, including keys, immediately.
• Lost keys will be charged at $35 per key. Locksmith fees will also be charged directly to you.
• If property linked to your accommodation is damaged, lost or taken during your stay, STUDIO 500 reserves the right to charge you the reasonable cost of repair or replacement of that property.
