Whether you are an artist, craftsperson, philosopher, musician, or bushwalker, you can combine your hobbies or your passions with the pleasure of secluded rural accommodation. 

Studio 500 can source space to provide your group with the facilities it needs to follow a wide range of creative pursuits. 

Enjoy some "timeout", focussed on your craft, in the company of friends who share your passion.
Whether it is patchwork and quilting, scrapbooking or embroidery, Studio 500 will source a conducive environment for productivity.

Your group will will be provided with:

  • Extra power points, power boards, extension leads and standard lamp;
  • Light box;
  • A1, A3 and rotary cutting boards;
  • Standard irons;
  • Standard and table top ironing board;
  • 3 trestle tables: 2 x 1.8m x 0.8m, 1 x 1.2m x 0.6m.

       
Exhibition Space at Studio 500 (planned to be available late 2010)

  • The gallery is available for individual and group exhibitions.
  • A $150 deposit is required on booking. This is non-refundable in the event of the cancellation of the exhibition. This amount is fully refundable on bumping out the exhibition.
  • There is a $30 per week charge to exhibitors for the space.
  • Studio 500 can provide a curator for the exhibition for a charge of $100.
  • It is expected that the exhibitors will have an opening for which they are responsible for the invitations. Invitations to clients of Studio 500 can be sent on the artist’s behalf.
  • Studio 500 will assist in advertising on local tourism websites and in VICs and local businesses.
  • For the opening, the cost of any food provided will be shared between the exhibitors and Studio500. The cost of drinks is negotiable depending on requirements.
  • Artist-in-residence/meet the artist is encouraged, but not essential.
  • Commission is 30% of selling price + GST.
  • The exhibition should be open for 6 – 8 weeks.
  • There is little storage space available so work should arrive close to the day it is being hung and be removed immediately the exhibition closes.
